School Age - Bucks

Hello, my name is Ms. Deb. I am the lead teacher for the Bucks classroom. I have been working at Martin Luther since October 2016. Before that I worked as a special education paraprofessional, a school age teacher at an afterschool program and at a summer camp. I have my bachelor's degree in special education. I really enjoy working with children of all ages and never having any two days alike. The children bring something new to the classroom daily. This keeps my days interesting and gratifying.

I grew up in Madison, but now live in Stoughton with my husband, John, and our 2 teenagers, Kim and Aaron. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, our cats, outdoors, camping and learning how to quilt.

Martin Luther welcomes your child to the Bucks classroom. The Bucks classroom offers variety of play and learning centers throughout the room. We also have the opportunity of outside time, gym, and computer lab/library. Homework time is allotted for all of our school age children.  Our curriculum allows the children to develop socially and cognitively by being active learners through play, art/craft projects, games, science and other fun activities.
