Testimonials

"Everyone at Martin Luther has embraced our daughter-spunk and all! She loves going to school and is always talking about her friends and teachers. Each and every teacher cares about the kids and that is shown in the interactions, creative art projects, fun bulletin boards, and kindness. We love this..."

2.5-3 Years - Shining Star

Hi, I am Ms. Chelsea and I am a lead teacher in the Shining Stars classroom. I have worked at Martin Luther since August, 2013 in both the two year old and three year old classrooms. I love working here to see how much the children learn from starting in my room to leaving and being potty trained, learning their names and just becoming more independent. I am married and am a puppy mom to Brooklyn. In my free time I love to read.

I am a Teacher in the Shining Stars classroom. I was born and raised in the Deep South along the Gulf coast of Alabama. I knew at a young age that I wanted to be an educator and work with children. I attended the University of Alabama earning a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Education. Over the years, I have worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings. My Husband and I have enjoyed 33 years of marriage raising three wonderful children, two sons and one daughter. We are very excited and anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first grandchild! I have always been an animal lover and currently have three cats named Tula, Beudreaux, and Mya. I also have a two year-old, very energetic boxer dog named Beauregard.

Welcome to the bright and colorful Shining

Stars classroom which is located front and center upon entering our building. Our three-year old classroom features full bathroom facilities, as well as many large windows which allow plenty of natural light in addition to a nice view of the building entrance. The classroom and theme-based curriculum fosters a rich and stimulating preschool atmosphere to encourage the next steps towards independence and education while providing much of the comfort and care children would expect at home.
